Tuesday, after my freelance gig, Stephen and the kids met me in the city. After asking me was I living under the rock, one of the girls, suggested that I take them to the High Line. We met on 30th and 11th and once the kids spotted me, they started running so fast with the biggest smiles on their face. Those are some of the moments I miss from working outside of the home.
Walking up with stairs, I knew this was going to be a fun time and a great choice. The kids were in awe, kept saying ” This is so cool”! They ran over to the maze and I immediately, started to walk and jump around. It took the kids sometime, because they act so scared sometimes. Once I held SJ hand and we did a few of them together, he was so into it. SJ and Sparkle found a secret hiding space and hid from one another, well at least tried. Sparkle gets so excited, SJ ends up finding her before she actually hides. lol
The rest of our time was spent, exploring and walking the walkway. Ended up walking so much, when I checked my fit bit that night, I did a little over my 10k steps. The walk was so worth it, the views, the plants, the exhibits, the people. Everything was like wow, so much inspiration in one spot. Pretty sure we only explored, half of what the High Line has to offer, can’t wait to go back and see more.
