During the first week of #gittensummercamp, the kids and I created our Summer bucket list. Since is our last Summer as a family of four, Stephen and I want to make sure we enjoyed it as much as we can. especially since this is our last Summer as a family of four. Creating a bucket list was the perfect idea, and we had so much fun putting it together. They had so many things they wanted to do! Of course we narrowed it down a bit to pregnant friendly things and time since Daddy still has to work. Some of the things on our list: stay-cations, day trips to the beach, father and son trip to Trinidad, and of course playdates.
Speaking of playdates, we had out first one of the Summer with Langston and Lyse. We agreed to meet late in the afternoon on a Sunday at one of my favorite parks in Jersey,Ponderosa Farm. It’s by far the the cutest and cleaniest little hidden gem. The kids enjoyed themselves so much between playing at the splash-pad, sliding on the slides, and just running around letting all that energy out. OMG before pregnancy brain comes over me, I have to share this. Kids these days are so innovative!! Lyse and I witnessed the older kids turn the slides into waterslides by filling buckets and pouring water on the slides before sliding down. They kept doing it over and over, jumping on the slides back to back and flying out as fast as they could. We stopped our three kiddos a few times, because it looked like someone was going to get hurt, thankfully no one did. We ended our time by stopping at Rita’s for a little snack before dinner.
sharing a few pics below.
These last few pictures crack me up, I have no idea what they were dancing too, but they were getting it. Every time I see Langston, he’s singing his Bruno Mars song and Sparkle is always dancing and singing any chance she can get. So funny watching the two of them.
