Love nothing more than getting all dressed up and being coördinated with my family. It’s probably one of my favorite holiday traditions ( see 2014, 2015 and 2016). Since becoming a family of 5, this is our second attempt at family photos. Safe to say, the second time was worse than the first one. LOL. How could that be possible? I have no idea.
Perfect Patty on the loose, because I was going nuts making sure these photos came out perfect. I scouted what I thought was the perfect location and when we got there, it was CLOSED. I promise you, I checked to make sure they would be open. Maybe I should start from the beginning and tell you I, we were an hour late to the shoot I always think time is on my side, I hope in 2018 I realize it’s NOT. Fast forward to us finding a great street with the cutest brownstone to shoot. We get all settled and STAR goes HAM. She was hungry and I was bottleless. So here I am, telling everyone to keep smiling for the photos and don’t worry about her. 5 mins later, I ended up telling them to continue the shoot without me and I take off running down the street in my heels to feed her in the car. Our time with our photographer was ticking as fast as my little sweater was shedding. Promise you, if that thang was covering up my momma pouch, I would have tossed it.
Nonetheless, we got a few images and learned a few new lessons about taking family photos in between. Guess that’s all that matters these days. LOL
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my family to yours.
